Jebba Louba

5 months is a long time if you spend everyday with someone. How do you not become attached? At least once a day I look into that adorable face and think to myself, "there's no way I can let you go. You are so mine!" Then I remember that I made a promise. If I keep a foster, I can't continue to foster other dogs. Raw deal, if you ask me! Okay, I actually made up that rule. But, if I didn't we'd have a farm and Michael would probably be long gone by now. So, someone is coming to look at Jeb today. I have mixed feelings. They live in an apartment and don't have approval from their landlord yet. Those of you who know what it's like to own a pit bull, know that it becomes damn near impossible to rent a home anywhere. All of a sudden everyone hates you. You get this a lot, "Pit bull?! Like one of those fightin' dogs?! No, I can't have a viscous dog running around here." I'm getting off the topic, but let me just ask one question, if I was running a dog fighting business do you really I'd call you up and ask if I can rent your property with my one pet pit bull? Probably not! This will continue as long as the majority of the world gets all their information from the news. Back to Jebba, will he get adopted today? Not likely. But there's a good chance we're driving him to a good home in Oregon this weekend. Stay tuned for the next episode. . .
